Ukończył Uniwersytet Medyczny we Wrocławiu w 2009 roku. Od 2010 jest zatrudniony na Uniwersytecie Medycznym we Wrocławiu, a od 2012 jest wykładowcą wizytującym w Katedrze Protetyki Stomatologicznej Uniwersytetu Technicznego w Dreźnie. Naukowo zajmuje się etiologią, diagnostyką i leczeniem zaburzeń czynnościowych układu stomatognatycznego, stomatologiczną medycyną snu oraz badaniem nowoczesnych i eksperymentalnych materiałów, mających zastosowanie w stomatologii. Trzykrotny laureat różnych programów stypendialnych, które umożliwiły mu prowadzenie projektów naukowych w Niemczech. Praktyczne szkolenia podyplomowe z zakresu artykulacji, okluzji i szyn zwarciowych, odbywał w renomowanych ośrodkach w Austrii i Niemczech. W 2013 roku obronił pracę doktorską pt. „Zastosowanie żywicy światłoutwardzalnej oraz wybranych systemów artykulacyjnych w wykonawstwie stabilizacyjnych szyn zwarciowych”. W latach 2014–2025 otrzymał Nagrody Indywidualne JM Rektora Uniwersytetu Medycznego we Wrocławiu za ważne i twórcze osiągnięcia w pracy naukowej. W 2015 roku uzyskał tytuł specjalisty w dziedzinie protetyki stomatologicznej. W 2016 roku ukończył zaawansowane szkolenie z zakresu diagnostyki i leczenia dysfunkcji narządu żucia na Uniwersytecie Kentucky w USA pod kierunkiem Jeffreya P. Okesona, DMD. Autor oraz współautor ponad 150 artykułów naukowych oraz 50 doniesień zjazdowych. Członek rad naukowych czasopism: Journal of Oral Rehabilitation, Journal of Oral & Facial Pain and Headache, CRANIO®: The Journal of Craniomandibular & Sleep Practice, Journal of Clinical Medicine, Healthcare, Frontiers in Neurology, Frontiers in Psychiatry oraz Journal of Stomatology. W 2016 roku uzyskał stopień doktora habilitowanego w zakresie medycyny na podstawie osiągnięcia naukowego pt. „Właściwości innowacyjnych technologii materiałowych mających zastosowanie w rehabilitacji protetycznej zaburzeń czynnościowych układu stomatognatycznego”. Od 2016 prowadzi autorskie kursy dla lekarzy stomatologów w zakresie zaburzeń skroniowo-żuchwowych, bruksizmu, okluzji oraz stomatologicznej medycyny snu. W 2017 roku ukończył specjalistyczne szkolenie w zakresie diagnostyki chorób stawów skroniowo-żuchwowych i mięśni narządu żucia zgodne z międzynarodowymi kryteriami diagnostycznymi dla zaburzeń skroniowo- żuchwowych (Diagnostic Criteria for Temporomandibular Disorders, DC/TMD) w San Francisco, USA oraz zdobył stypendium Ministra Nauki i Szkolnictwa Wyższego dla wybitnych młodych naukowców. W 2018 roku odbył staże w Zakładzie Bólu Ustno-twarzowego Uniwersytetu w Tel Awiwie (Izrael) oraz w Klinice Bólu Ustno-twarzowego Uniwersytetu Kentucky (USA). W 2019 roku uzyskał stanowisko profesora nadzwyczajnego, a w 2020 roku stanowisko profesora. Klinicznie specjalizuje się w diagnostyce i leczeniu zaburzeń skroniowo-żuchwowych, bólu ustno-twarzowego oraz stomatologicznej medycynie snu i kompleksowych protetycznych rekonstrukcjach uzębienia. Jest członkiem następujących międzynarodowych towarzystw: International Association for Dental Research, European Academy of Orofacial Pain and Dysfunction oraz International College of Dentists. Jest jednym z odkrywców genetycznego podłoża bruksizmu i bezdechu sennego. W 2020 roku badanie to zostało opublikowane w czasopiśmie Scientific Reports, należącym do Grupy Wydawniczej Nature (link do artykułu: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-020-64615-y). Jest również jednym z odkrywców związków bruksizmu sennego z ogólnoustrojowym stanem zapalnym, sennością, stresem oraz zaburzeniami hormonalnymi, które zostały opisany w czasopiśmie Nature and Science of Sleep (link do artykułu: https://www.dovepress.com/determination-of-inflammatory-markers-hormonal-disturbances-and-sleepi-peer-reviewed-article-NSS). To odkrycie zostało zauważone w 2021 roku przez jeden z największych na świecie portali internetowych poświęconych medycynie czyli MEDPAGE TODAY, który opublikował artykuł dotyczący tego badania (link do artykułu: https://www.medpagetoday.com/resource-centers/excessive-sleepiness-and-associated-risks-with-obstructive-sleep-apnea/new-sleep-related-risk-factor-cvd/3123). W dniu 28.06.2023 r. czasopismo naukowe „Dental and Medical Problems”, którego prof. dr hab. n. med. Mieszko Więckiewicz jest redaktorem naczelnym uzyskało wskaźnik Impact Factor nadawany przez Clarivate Analytics. Jednocześnie należy podkreślić, że czasopismo „Dental and Medical Problems” jest pierwszym w Polsce i Europie Wschodniej czasopismem naukowym o profilu stomatologiczno-medycznym, które posiada ten prestiżowy wskaźnik. Bez wątpienia jest to jedno z najważniejszych wydarzeń we współczesnej historii polskiej stomatologii. Prof. dr hab. n. med. Mieszko Więckiewicz zajął drugie miejsce w prestiżowym konkursie Supertalenty w Medycynie 2021 organizowanym przez redakcję czasopisma Puls Medycyny. W 2023 roku uzyskał tytuł Executive MBA (Master of Business Administration) w Polsko-Amerykańskiej Szkole Biznesu na Wydziale Zarządzania Politechniki Wrocławskiej. W latach 2023–2025 znalazł się wśród najczęściej cytowanych na świecie polskich naukowców w prestiżowym zestawieniu World’s Top 2% Scientists, przygotowanym przez Uniwersytet Stanforda oraz wydawnictwo Elsevier. W 2024 roku otrzymał Brązowy Krzyż Zasługi nadany przez Prezydenta RP oraz nagrodę „Złoty OTIS” za osiągnięcia w stomatologii w 2023 roku. Prof. Mieszko Więckiewicz jest pierwszym Polakiem, który został członkiem rady naukowej jednego z najbardziej prestiżowych czasopism stomatologicznych na świecie, czyli Journal of Oral Rehabilitation. Postanowieniem z dnia 10 marca 2020 r. Prezydent RP nadał mu tytuł profesora nauk medycznych i nauk o zdrowiu, dzięki czemu został on jednym z najmłodszych profesorów tytularnych w historii polskiej medycyny.

Ukończyła Uniwersytet Medyczny we Wrocławiu w 2009 roku. Od 2011 prowadzi praktykę dentystyczną specjalizującą się w stomatologii odtwórczej i estetycznej. Ukończyła liczne kursy i szkolenia z zakresu stomatologii estetycznej, odtwórczej oraz endodoncji. Jest współautorką 4 artykułów naukowych i dwóch doniesień zjazdowych. W 2017 roku uzyskała tytuł specjalisty w dziedzinie stomatologii zachowawczej z endodoncją. W 2019 roku ukończyła specjalistyczne szkolenie w zakresie leczenia zaburzeń czynnościowych w obszarze czaszkowo-twarzowym metodą CRAFTA (Cranial Facial Therapy Academy). Następnie w 2021 roku ukończyła roczne studia podyplomowe "Zarządzanie i prawo w stomatologii" organizowane przez Uniwersytet Medyczny we Wrocławiu, Polskie Towarzystwo Stomatologiczne oraz Medical Maestro Academy. W 2022 roku ukończyła szkolenie "Utrzymanie zdrowo funkcjonującego narządu żucia, poprzez leczenie ortodontyczne i protetyczne. Zastosowanie podejścia klinicznego w leczeniu pacjenta", które było prowadzone przez dr Jeffreya Okesona. Specjalizuje się w diagnostyce holterowskiej bruksizmu w czasie snu i obturacyjnego bezdechu sennego oraz leczeniu zaburzeń stawów skroniowo-żuchwowych i mięśni żucia.
He graduated from the Wroclaw Medical University in 2009. Since 2010, he has been employed at the Wroclaw Medical University, and since 2012, he has been a visiting lecturer at the Department of Prosthodontics at the Technical University in Dresden. In his scientific work, he focuses on the etiology, diagnosis, and treatment of temporomandibular disorders, dental sleep medicine, and research on modern and experimental materials applicable in dentistry. Three-time laureate of different scholarship programs, which enabled him to carry out research projects in Germany. At renowned centers in Austria and Germany, he received practical postgraduate training in the fields of articulation, occlusion, and occlusal splints. In 2013, he defended the doctoral thesis entitled “Application of light- curing resin and selected articulating systems in the manufacturing of occlusal stabilization splints.” In the years 2014-2025, he received Individual Scientific Awards from Wroclaw Medical University in recognition of significant and outstanding achievements in scientific work. In 2015, he obtained the title of specialist in prosthodontics. In 2016, he completed advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of temporomandibular disorders at the University of Kentucky, USA, led by Jeffrey P. Okeson, DMD. He authored and co-authored over 150 peer-reviewed articles and 50 conference presentations. He is a member of the editorial boards of the following journals: Journal of Oral Rehabilitation, Journal of Oral & Facial Pain and Headache, CRANIO®: The Journal of Craniomandibular & Sleep Practice, Journal of Clinical Medicine, Healthcare, Frontiers in Neurology, Frontiers in Psychiatry, and Journal of Stomatology. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Dental and Medical Problems. In 2016 he obtained the habilitation degree in the field of medicine based on the scientific achievement entitled “Properties of innovative material technologies applicable in the prosthetic rehabilitation of functional disorders of the stomatognathic system.” Since 2016, he has been leading author’s courses for dentists in the field of temporomandibular disorders, dental sleep medicine, occlusion, and articulation systems. In 2017, he completed a specialist training in the field of diagnostics of temporomandibular disorders according to the Diagnostic Criteria for Temporomandibular Disorders, DC/TMD in San Francisco, USA, and was awarded a scholarship by the Polish Minister of Science and Higher Education for outstanding young scientists. In 2018, he completed internships at Tel Aviv University's Orofacial Pain Division (Israel) and at the University of Kentucky Orofacial Pain Clinic (USA). In 2019, he obtained the position of associate professor, and in 2020, the position of professor at the Wroclaw Medical University. Clinically, he specializes in the diagnostics and treatment of temporomandibular disorders, orofacial pain, dental sleep medicine, and full-mouth rehabilitation. He is a member of the following international associations: the International Association for Dental Research, the European Academy of Orofacial Pain and Dysfunction, and the International College of Dentists He is the fourth Polish dentist admitted to the esteemed International College of Dentists. He is one of the discoverers of the genetic basis for bruxism and sleep apnea and contribution of serotonergic pathway in sleep bruxism and sleep breathing disorders etiology. In 2020, the study about genetic bases was published in the Scientific Reports journal, part of the Nature Publishing Group (link to the article: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-020-64615-y). He is also one of the discoverers of the associations of bruxism with systemic inflammatory conditions, sleepiness, stress, and hormonal disorders, which were described in the Nature and Science of Sleep journal (link to the article: https://www.dovepress.com/determination-of-inflammatory-markers-hormonal-disturbances-and-sleepi-peer-reviewed-article-NSS). This discovery was noticed in 2021 by one of the world's largest internet portals dedicated to medicine, MEDPAGE TODAY, which published an article about this study (link to the article: https://www.medpagetoday.com/resource-centers/excessive-sleepiness-and-associated-risks-with-obstructive-sleep-apnea/new-sleep-related-risk-factor-cvd/3123). On June 28th, 2023, the scholarly journal „Dental and Medical Problems”, whose prof. Mieszko Wieckiewicz is the Editor-in-Chief and received the Impact Factor from Clarivate Analytics. At the same time, it should be emphasized that „Dental and Medical Problems” is the first dentistry-profile scholarly journal in Poland and Eastern Europe to receive this prestigious bibliometric indicator. Undoubtedly, it is one of the most important events in the modern history of Polish dentistry. He finished second in the prestigious “Supertalenty w Medycynie 2021” competition, which was organized by the Puls Medycyny journal's editorial staff. In 2023, he obtained the MBA (Master of Business Administration) degree from the Polish-American Business School, Faculty of Management, Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. In the years 2023-2025 he became a laureate of World's TOP 2% Scientists ranking, prepared by Stanford University in cooperation with Elsevier publishing house. In 2024, he was awarded the Bronze Cross of Merit by the President of the Republic of Poland (the Cross of Merit is a Polish civil state decoration established on 23 June 1923, to recognize services to the state). In 2024, he received the "Golden OTIS" award for achievements in dentistry in 2023. Prof. Mieszko Więckiewicz is the first Pole to serve on the editorial board of one of the world's most prestigious dental journals, the Journal of Oral Rehabilitation. By the resolution of March 10, 2020, the President of the Republic of Poland awarded him the title of professor of medical and health sciences, thereby making him one of the youngest full professors in the history of Polish medicine and dentistry.

She graduated from the Wroclaw Medical University in 2009. Since 2011 she has been leading a dental practice specializing in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. She has completed numerous courses and trainings in the fields of aesthetic, restorative, and endodontic dentistry. She co-authored four scientific articles and two conference presentations. In 2017, she obtained the title of specialist in the field of conservative dentistry with endodontics. In 2019, she completed specialist training in the field of treating functional disorders in the craniofacial area with the CRAFTA method (Cranial Facial Therapy Academy). Subsequently, in 2021, she completed a one-year postgraduate study in "Management and Law in Dentistry," organized by the Wroclaw Medical University, the Polish Dental Association, and the Medical Maestro Academy. In 2022, she completed a course titled "Maintaining a healthy masticatory system function through orthodontic and prosthetic treatment. Clinical approach in patient treatment," which was carried out by Jeffrey Okeson, DMD. She specializes in holter monitoring of sleep bruxism and obstructive sleep apnea, as well as the management of temporomandibular disorders.
